Intern(Details):

Intern is a student of agriculture related subject who works at any department of AgSS to facilitate additional works assigned by executive. The service period of Internship is usually for 8 months. In this time you will get to know AgSS better and also how it works and will contribute to our agriculture sector through mutual learning.

General criteria for application:

  1. To apply for an intern position, you must need to be a student of agricultural university or a student of agriculture related subject at any university.
  2. 1st /2nd/3rd year students of agriculture related subject are highly encouraged to apply.
  3. For an Intern position, you must need to be committed to dedicate 5-6 hours/week.

Intern selection criteria:

Same as executive selection means who are applying for intern position have to go through 4 stages.

  1. Application: You must need to apply first for an open position.
  2. Short listing: After the thorough processing of your application, you will be shortlisted.
  3. Open Discussion: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to join in an open discussion meeting with selection board via video conference call. It’s the most crucial stage of selection where you will get an opportunity to share your ideas/thoughts on agriculture as well as you will get to know better about AgSS from this discussion whether this platform will be right for you or not.
  4. Consent: After the thorough reviewing of last 3 stages, we will be very happy to offer you an appointment letter with a ‘consent’ form where you must need to sign and send them back to us. After that, you will be a part of our intern team and together will be able to make a future of agriculture.

Same as executive position, intern position is completely a volunteering position. However, interns are benefitted in so many ways.
