Campus Ambassador(CA) (Details) :

Campus Ambassador of AgSS plays a vital role in spreading the program at his/her campus. The core responsibilities of CA is to maintain a favorable condition through good communication and appreciating partnership with other organization at campus so that designed program could be run smoothly by ensuring maximum promotion, fundraising as well as participation. However, CA can design AgSS program at his/her campus and also can form a small campus team to facilitate overall operation by consulting with AgSS.

General criteria for application:

  1. One who are applying for CA position must need to be a student of agricultural university or a student who are studying agriculture related subject in university.
  2. 1st/2nd/3rd year students of agriculture related subject are highly appreciated to apply.
  3. The service period of CA is for 1 year.
  4. For a CA position, you must need to be committed to dedicate 5-6 hours/week.

Campus Ambassador selection criteria: There are 3 stages.

  1. Application: You must need to apply first for an open position.
  2. Short listing: After the thorough processing of your application, you will be shortlisted.
  3. Open Discussion: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to join in an open discussion meeting with selection board via video conference call. It’s the most crucial stage of selection where you will get an opportunity to share your ideas/thoughts on agriculture as well as you will get to know better about AgSS from this discussion whether this platform will be right for you or not.

After reviewing, you will get the confirmation email to join as a Campus Ambassador of AgSS.
